Design of shoe lasts - LastMaker
LastMaker (from Delcam) is used for digitalization, verification, flattening, 3D modification and grading of the shoe lasts.
Digitalization
Digitalization of the last is done by mechanical digitizer MicroScribe by Crispin's product ModelTracer where the smooth surface is calculated.
The digitizing of the shoe last by digitizer MicroScribe-G2:
ModelTracer - easy to digitize:
The digitalization process takes about one hour.
Verification
LastMaker offers visual analyzing of the quality of the surface and also explicit analyzing of the parameters like: heel height, toe spring, girth length and stick length.
Flattening
LastMaker calculates the flatten forms of both sides and bottom and allows to export them to the standard formats.
Modification
There are included tens of functions to modify the shape of the last in LastMaker. Aside from the change of basic parameters (heel height, toe spring, girth length, stick length) there is also possible to modify the shape of the last in the specific or define areas to create customized or orthopedic lasts.
There is also possible to compare the different lasts.
Grading
LastMaker is able to grade the lasts by standard grading tables or to customized sides and widths.
