ShoeDesign (from Delcam) is intended for the designing of the upper and also the sole of footwear. By the help of this program it is possible to design footwear and all its variants in colored and also material configuration without footwear is physically made. In addition it is possible to carry out of the development of single panel to the flat form. This system is relatively easy to operate with although functionally is wide - spread and complicated.

Creation of the design consists of three basic phases

• In the first phase it is possible to make alterations of the last. For example we can adjust the length of the last, peripheral group, height heel, shape of the toe. We can also adjust the type of last (shoe, booties and top boots).
• In the second phase - the main one - the panels and the upper itself with help of points and lines can be created. Creation of the upper offers a broad - spectrum of functions the panels can be created with: color combination of panels, selection of the used texture including scanned physical samples of material (leather, textile,…), padding, width of the panel... Also accessories like buckles or features like laces can be created. See the results in the gallery above.
• Third phase is specialized to the sole design production. There are basic (intended largely for ladies court shoes) and advanced - fit especially for footwear sports, child's and also gentlemen's - creation of the sole. See the results in the gallery above.
